I have known Derrick for over 70 years I met him at Loughborough when he was a Student at the College .My Aunt was a Matron at one of the residences…this was where Joan met him. I was Joan’s little brother at this time and have so many fond memories of him particularly hearing about his football days and seeing his remarkable woodworking skills over the years.
